I'm looking for a source of 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 B&W sheet film. Any Ideas? I don't h ave a darkroom to use to cut it myself. Thanks for any help you can give, Charles

I do this quite often. I started out using a normal paper trimmer with electrical tape marking the measurement I needed to cut. It stuck up high enough to use as a guide. Now I use a rotary cutter I got at the office supply store. Once you get the hang of it is not too much of a pain. You really just need to have an official darkroom just a room that you can get totally dark. Try something like a bathroom with few windows at night or maybe a dark corner of the basement at night when it is not so hard to block off stray light sources. You might also try a changing bag that is large enough to get a small cutter in.

I have a couple of cameras that use this format that really perform well. It would be much more convienent if they were 4x5 but the price was great. The one I really like is a Graflex RB super D with a 12 exposure bag mag. Good luck.

Contact me off list if you would like to discuss this further. I could even cut some for you if you wanted to ship it. I know this is not very convienient but let me know.

Photo Warehouse 1-(800)-922-5484 cut down larger film, reputed to be Ilford FP-4,about $36/100 sheets. Film for Classics, 1-(716)-624- 4945, Tmax100 and TMax400 $1.25/sheet, 25 sheet minimum. Ilford still makes 3 1/4x4 1/4 FP-4+ in England, does anybody import it privately?
