View Full Version : Wista Parts - Fine focus lock / tensioner
I bought a Wista 45D from Japan and both of the tensioner locks snapped off in the mail.
The seller is offering a partial refund and I'm not sure what a reasonable amount is or how bad this is. The camera still largely works. Can replacement parts be had?
Thanks,
Sam

Why not direct your question to the Wista web site?
I honestly didn't try. Have you had luck with that? The English language part of their site is quite minimal.

They list H.P Marketing Corp. as their US distributer, who have a website that is currently hosting multilingual bitcoin spam.
Does anyone know the proper name for these parts?

We closed HP Marketing in 2014. Omega Satter is the successor to us in the USA. They won’t know about parts for long discontinued models. The factory will know. Ask them.
Thanks Bob. Very helpful. Sorry to hear about closing your company. I'll try to get in contact with Wista directly.

Closing wasn’t our choice. Our owner in Switzerland decided to close out all of his photo holdings. We were that company’s first non European photo acquisition in 1983 and we were the last photo distribution company that they closed.
