Brass rack and pinion

Does anyone know where I can find brass rack and pinion gearing in the UK, I would like to have a go at building a field camera.

If you have a local bearing supplier I'd try there. Most of them are Boston gear dealers. This may work differently in the UK, but may be worth a try. I saved alot over internet places like Small Parts and SDI. (It helps to know what to ask for when you walk in, those stock drive catalogues are fairly brain numbing)
