Imagon 250 compound copal exchange?

Are the lens cells fitting into a copal 3?

No. Not a straight fit as the thread size is different.

The ones that we imported from Rodenstock were a direct fit. You unscrewed the lens bar from the rear of its tube and it screwed directly into the rear of the 3 shutter. You involved the trim ring from in front of the tube and it screwed directly into the front of the 3 shutter. You are left with a 200, 250 or 300mm Imagon in 3 shutter with no adapers ended and the empty Imagon tube.
If you are trying to mount the lens into a focusing tube mount for a 3 shutter then you need in addition a 3 shutter, a focusing Heli iPod, a focus adapter and a lens body adapter.

The shutter has threaded adapters front and rear

I have sent a message to the seller and i hope he can tell me the thread sizes, so guessing wont be necessary.
Its 330 dollars after all.

I am considering a similar issue. Either have a CLA done on my Compound shutter or more modern shutter on my 360mm Tele-Xenar. I love this lens with my Pacemaker 4x5!! What newer shutter should I consider?
