What longest rail possible for Horseman?

I have myself modular 760mm rail. I have also seen 1m rail. Is there anything longer possible by combining two rails together?

Horseman sold this coupling plate, it was in a catalog, I bought a used one on eBay years ago

I used it once to mount two 700 mm rails with everything I had to make one long bellows

We do still make some things here...

What I really like about 80/20 is they will also cut to length, thread tap holes even small orders and ship quickly

They also offer offer Metric and Imperial sizing

I have a ULF camera project that has stalled, using their parts

About buying 80/20 T-slotted extrusion. As mentioned in post #7 above, 80/20 themselves offer great service. But at a price. They sell "surplus" on amazon.com, if all that's needed is a section of extrusion and they offer the length desired, at lower prices.

Given enough bellows and standards, one could hypothetically make an extension a mile long if they wanted to. I've seen it done for Sinar monorails up to about 16ft long using a steel I-beam support below. Some special micro application. I happen to have a 28 inch Horseman bellows which fits my Sinar standards, and is less susceptible to sag without a intermediate support. I make my own underlying equivalents of what has here been termed a "connector plate" using maple hardwood stock and brass thread inserts.
