T'ain't nothin' wrong with asking for a new forum, or trying to figure out where a thread ought to go. But that was a different discussion than the topic in question, and we were trying to keep it separate to figure out if there was interest in a new subforum and not just a single thread. There seems to be, so we've created a Wet Plate sub-forum.

I moved the thread in question over there and reopened it.
