I just talked with Dick Phillips last week (waiting to take delivery of mine) and the phone number is indeed (989) 835-7897. If you want to order, you should really call, as Dick Phillips is not really an email person.

The 8x10 Compact II is $2800 this year, though I am not sure if he will do anymore of them. You should really call Dick up and talk to him. Not everything you may have heard or read on the net is true, or up-to-date.

By the way, the email that I have from Dick last week is rhphill@sbcglobal.net. But it's been said before: it's much better to call.

Cheers,

I'm wondering why you don't have one built in China like the 16x20 you have for sale, it looks like a Phillips copy. Whoever made it did a very nice job.

Are you buying the 8x10 to copy? What will the price be for the copy?

Clayton,
In fact,I like Phillips very very much.My friend who lives in my near door has 4 Phillips cameras now (8x10/two 11x14/8x16),Phillips is a great camera. My 16x20 camera also is a very good camera,I am using a chinese made 8x10 camera that same with my 16x20 for my photo works. But I want to buy a Phillips 8x10 camera for my personal collection.Sorry!I am not the 16x20 camera maker, but I can sell a new 8x10 camera to you,If you are interest in Chinese made 8x10 camera that same with the 16x20 camera, please let me know your email address,I will send the picture of the 8x10 camera.

I undestand your attraction to the Phillips cameras, I don't own one but have used all the models your friend has. If I was in the market for an 8x10 it would be a Phillips.

I was one of the first buyers of the 5x12 Shen-Hao and think they're incredibly well made, better than Wisner in fact. So I'm now keenly following the new models coming out of China.

Right now I don't need any more 8x10's but thanks for your offer.
