Usually you'd do this via unscrewing the front and popping it off. But instead the M-F slider gets in the way. With no manual on hand I dont want to risk doing the screws on the back unless someone here recommends it! Anybody have experience cleaning and lubricating this particular shutter?

Remove the front element
Take the little screw out that is at the 12:00 position.
Ratate the name plate about 10 degrees till the tabs line up with the slots,
Remove the nameplate the M-F slider comes with it.
It doesn't index to anything internally it just has a tooth that makes contact with a part in the shutter and completes the flash circuit.
