Majestic 1800 tripod head for heavy 8x10 camera?

I have a really heavy 8x10"-camera. Right now I have a Gitzo No 4 tripod head. Unfortunately it is enought for the camera so I am looking for another tripod head. I have been offered to buy a Majestic 1800 - could that tripod head be a better choice for me?

Heavy but would work. I'm not sure how it will adapt to the Gitzo. I've been using a Ries J250 with my Kodak 2D 8x10 and am quite happy with it.
