Last year when processing 2 11x14 negatives in my JOBO 3062 (yes I know they were made for processing prints) I had one of the negatives come loose landing onto the other negative resulting in both negatives being ruined. So started to use 3 JOBO "clips" which slide on to the ribs inside the tank to assure that the film did not come loose. Initially I was at worried that the clips would be interrupters/diverters to the even flow of the developer over the surface of the film, but I have not seen any uneven development, so far. Have been processing with Rodinal. Now am about to start processing with PYROCAT-HD in Glycol.

Has anyone else out there been using those small clips when processing film and experienced any problems?

thanks

I've successfully used the JOBO test print drum with clips for my 4x5 film with no artifacts or other issues.
