Hi,

Recently I was given a Super Chromega D Dichroic II lamp house for use on my Omega D2. It came with the 412-021 power supply. I am at a loss to figure out if it is possible to connect this to my GraLab 300 timer. Anybody have a diagram or description of how to do this ? Or, would I need a dedicated Omega timer ?

Thanks.

Mike

It works fine, though not quite as convenient as a push-button timer with LED display. Just about any Gralab timer will work. Just look at the socket labels and the timer hookup position is obvious. There are instructions on the Gralab website.

Graylab timer, of course, has no labeled cord that indicates "plug into power supply," so you need this diagram to get it connected correctly. Did the enlarger not come with the owener's manual? If not, as you see, the manual is an important item to read.

Thanks for the help. My bad, as I had a temporary brain blockage and misread that diagram in the enlarger manual. Actually very straightforward. Don't know why I blocked on it.

Just blame it on the Shelter-In-Place orders, it’s affecting our perceptions. :p

Yeh, and if this continues, I may start saying I am shooting 5x4 instead of 4x5 !!

That's what the Brits call it. I think that changes at the International Date Line, just like view cameras start having right side up images south of the equator.
