We have been on quarateen started March 16th. I have been taking advantage of the free time working on personal photographic projects. One of which is digitizing family photos, slides, and negatives. My father was a photographer in the Navy during WWII. Here is a shot of him in the darkroom with an enlarger. I don't know if it's a military version or what lens it's fitted with but I like the image. The best part is I have the negatives of all the prints and more so if I like a print I can pull it out and see if I can do better. :-)

Great image. 4x5 negative I would assume.

It's an 8x10 Elwood enlarger in the horizontal position

He's removing the lens to use it for a mortar round.

Thanks, I haven’t found the negative yet. This was copied from an 8x10 print.

I may share some more images from the Navy years. I’m wondering which section would be best to post the thread.

If it's material with no particular connection to large format photography, a thread in the Lounge would be fine. I'm sure many would enjoy it!

Yes, please post. My father was also a Navy photographer, I have several photos of his unit in the South Pacific during WWII.
