Now that I'm coating ULF papers I'm trying to figure if there is a significant costs savings in mixing my own sodium palladium chloride. (solution #3). Can anyone tell me how many grams of the dry palladium chloride powder it takes to mix 100ml of solution and how much salt is added to the mix? Thanks

9.1 gm PdCl
6.4 gm NaCl
100 ml Distilled H2O (final volume)

Ouch - was checking my chemical suppliers under PdCl2 and came up with $400 for 5 grams.

Mike that's nice.... By the way, I have a bridge and a statue in New York I would like to sell you. Go to Bostick and Sullivan or artcraft chemicals and get a real price. should be 9.00 -15.00 a gram depending on market price. But 80.00 a gram? It really is a nice statue. Good light my friend

Are you sure that's not 400.00 for 50gm. Now that would sound more like it. And probably a good deal

I kid you not - like usual, the scientific grade product costs a lot more. sigmaaldrich.com (have to register to get pricing though)
