Please help with lens identification

Hello, I bought this lens some time ago. I put it on the shelf, and did not pay much attention to it. Now I finally tried it, and I am happy with the results, so I would like to know anything about it. On the lens body only aperture scale is engraved. Because of f4.8, I think it could be an old Goerz, I think they used this scale. Lens design is four element in two cemmented groups, so I think it is most probably aplanat or rapid rectilinear. Hard to say if the elements are symmetrical - the lenses alone seems symmetrical, but the elements are not interchangeable. I would appreciate any help, thank you.

We would only be guessing! Certainly the German f scale, though.
Goetz would not have released this without details of focal length or size number and “brand”.
But it does look well made and could have been stolen by an employee, lost by the development section etc. etc.
