Hi All,

Would appreciate some advice, please, regarding how to best store exposed color, roll film before it can be processed? The Forum has lots of discussion about storing unexposed film, but I haven't come across much about how to keep exposed film safely before processing. The amount of time may be up to a month or so. The concerns are latent image loss, and color shift. The film is Kodak Portra 120.

Storage advice based on positive results would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance to all.

Be well, and stay safe.

I keep mine in old orange plastic pill bottles....in a cool dry place.

There shouldn't be any issue for a month under normal conditions regarding humidity and temperature. Think about how long photo journalists haven been out in the field carrying film in much harsher conditions than your home :).

For fresh stock I keep it in my film fridge, but that is for storage over several months as I buy in larger quantities.
