How To Open Latches On Viking Case

Hello. Can anyone tell me how the front latches work on a metal Viking case? I just bought one for my Cambo SCX, but can't figure how these latches open. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Fold tabs out, like the right side one in your pic.
Rotate tab counter-clockwise.
The " hook" above the tab should slide up, opening the latch.

I don’t have one, but this video shows how it’s done on a case that looks very similar. You may have another issue if you’ve tried this.

Sit on it and see if you can turn the latches. Sometimes they stick when not used frequently.
