Starting to go out and about a bit more (masked and distanced, naturally) but have spent a good amount of the past 4 months experimenting with solargraphy in homemade seltzer can pinhole cameras. Long exposures match the strange passing of time so many of us are feeling these past months.

Ilford MGIV RC in 4x6 postcard size, pinhole via pushpin (rather large for a pinhole, but keeps exposure time to about a week, though I do have some much longer ones going)

My friend through a 160 micron hole in a metal oatmeal can on 4x5 HP-5 (2 minutes exposure). Actually, I suspect the hole is more like 240 microns, as the image was a bit overexposed. Scanned 8x10 silver print.

Totally agree about suitability of pinhole for weird times. Just posted one below.

Haven't done much photography lately but sort of like this one. Trying to decide on a title. Either "Portals to the Universe" or "Toast on a Lightbox".

A digital image from my bike ride today. About 25 mile loop, starting at 80 elevation at home, to 3000' where this image is taken. It is looking back into the river valley where I started, and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. nice day!

Nice pic! Gorgeous day! But I think the ride distance and elevation gain is the most impressive aspect of it all.

A neighbor likes to decorate the front of her property for every holiday. Here are some stuffed hedgehogs, holding felt hearts adorned with little eggs wishing you a Happy Easter:

Actually, the osprey squawked quite a bit more than my wife. Thankfully! Yes, this place is remote and peaceful.
