I can confirm that my Nagaoka has the crack on the bottom plate, however there is no rear swing other than what little flex that I can get by moving one side of the rear standard forward a bit. Perhaps yours is made differently?

Thanks for the video. The CF sort of reminds me of my Wehman 8x10. It has what you most often need, is relatively light, and produces good negatives.

My personal choice for 4x5 field camera is one of the earlier Shen Hoa's (~2004 vintage). If I need more than it can provide. I have a Toyoview C studio camera.

The Toyo needing special lens boards made it a nonstarter for me.

Jim,
I can get about an inch of "swing" by pushing one side or the other forward. More than enough for my needs.
