Don, I think the point is to help folks wanting to use medical x-ray film to see what they can achieve with that film. Your images, while very nice, are a bit of a distraction.

I suppose we should also be clear about what the film is and developer.

Here's one on Fuji HR-T film rated at 80 and developed in Rodinal 1:100 for 7 minutes at a colder than normal temperature (don't remember exactly, probably around 65):

And here's a portrait made in studio with flash, but developed in Acufine for 2 minutes:

Thanks Jim and Steve.

No, it's a friend who was in the university's art program years ago. I used to hang out as the unofficial TA for all the film classes.

Well, I'll break out these again. My boys, 8x10, unknown x-ray film processed at the hospital, platinum prints.
Open shade, I rated the film at ASA 400 for the first image of each boy, then made a second exposure each with one stop more light. I used the thinner negatives -- and the poses for the first images showed more curiosity than the second images. The boys were playing in the sandbox/dirt and I called them over one at a time...five years-old, give or take a year.

I have made some fun photograms on 14x17 x-ray film...contact printed onto 16x20 silver gelatin paper or printed as cyanotypes. No images available right now..
