Coverage of 288mm; sounds like a great lens for the wide end of the range on my GVII.

Any feedback on it? I'm currently bidding on it on eBay. So stay away! (just kidding!)

Thanks

This has been a very popular lens for many years. It is big so make sure it will fit into your camera.. It has been popular because it is a good lens. Depending on what you are shooting do you need a lens that big with that much coverage?

Hi Steve. It seems like a beautiful lens, and I thought if I could get it for the same or not much more than the 105mm SW Fuji (with Seiko shutter) I was looking at, then it would be great deal. Yes, the coverage may well be more than I ever need. Main question is will I wish I had gone a tad wider (105mm)?

Anyway, I'm about to see it's current worth, on eBay at least!

Thanks

OK, I let it go -- it went over $450, past my limit. Probably the 105 will be better for me anyway.

Next question: Is there any drawbacks to the Seiko shutters? They seem to get a lower price than Copal.
