Picked up a used Toyo 810G on the favorite auction site... and couldn't be happier. Finally got a lens and lensboard so I could try it out...

Problem 1: pinholes in the corners of the bellows.... expected it.... is there an option besides hours or tedium with bellows tape? (aside from a new bellows)

Problem 2: With the 4x5 reducing back in place, I pop in the Polaroid holder. the holder has a part of the handle that hits the larger 8x10 plate, causing a slight gap between the spring back and the holder. This of course means two things: A not-quite flat insertion, going to cause a slight focus distortion, and a light leak along that edge of the holder.

Most importantly, any ideas for the second one???

Thanks...
D.

That's odd. I have essentially the same rig and have no problems. Which 4x5 back are you using with which Polaroid back?

Try mixing some carpenter's glue with india ink. Just jake sure you let it dry four a couple of days before you flex the bellows.
