I've seen a few mentions of sizes for this camera. One is 6x6, another is 7.5x7.5, and another is 9x9. What is the correct lens board size for the Agfa Ansco 8x10 camera?

This thread may help. https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?29939-Agfa-Ansco-8x10-lensboard-dimensions Really seem light the lens board size depends on the vintage.

Interesting. I got a message from the guy Im buying his camera off of, and he said his boards are around 149mm square. So that equates to 6x6. Almost anyway. Just shy of 6x6.

Hi braxus,

I have an Agfa/Ansco 8x10. There are two variations. If the camera has no front tilt it takes a 7.5 x 7.5 lens board. Cameras with a built in tilt of the lens board, but not the entire frame carrying the lens board uses a 6 x 6 lens board. The front of the bellows is also smaller on the model with the 6 x 6 lens board. This needs to be taken into account if you need to replace the bellows. I believe the 9 x 9 board would be for a studio camera. Hope this is some help.

Keep Well,

I used to have an Agfa Ansco 8x10 and the lens boards were 6x6. But as noted above, it depends on the model.
