Dear reader, I am new to Large Format. I am presently in the market for a camera . While I am searching for the best by I would like to read and learn on the dif ferent mouvements (lens, bellows, front and back tilts) to understand why and wh en to use them. Is there a place on the net I can go to further my learning. Tha nks for your help.

The book "Using The View Camera" by Steve Grimes is a good start. Subscribing to his magazine "View Camera" is another.

The book "Using The View Camera" is written by Steve Simmons, not by Steve Grimes. I agree it is a good start. It is my favorite LF book.

The Jan/Feb 2000 issue of View Camera magazine will have an article titled Gettng Started in Large Format. It won't tell you what cameda to buy but it may help people sort out what features they need in a camera.

LF is different than other formats. You should decide what range of lenses you will want to use and what subjects you want to photograph before selecting a camera body.
