So quote it here. I have been banished from APUG. Like I really care a lot. Not.

It's six pages long.... One of the Ilford staffers has joined APUG... and is telling their plans.
Good news allround.

Do you know if Ilford Bromophen is coming back?
Perhaps you could ask your chum over on APUG.

Wm Blunt jj, Guess Ive been banished too, they won't let me register!

You might write to the immoderator, Sean, directly. My roommate and a colleague cannot register either. Methinks Sean may have blocked a wide number of IP address by accident.

That said, APUG is becoming terribly limited; it's the same people over and over with a mere fraction who add new information to the body of knowledge, and it promises to stay exactly that way, or grow even narrower with the new Star Chamber that Sean has proposed. Besides, I predict Sean will go digital, charter bedamned.

William--e-mail Sean using the "contact us" link on the bottom of the page and he should sort out your registration problem. Of the few users who have been banned (sorry jj, not my decision in your case), I don't think he's blocked the IP, since we've had banned users show up under new names from the same IP they were using before, so I suspect it's something else, possibly related to the latest software upgrade.

We register up to 20 a day, i do have a few emails from a couple of people who had issues and am looking at them now.

don't mind jj, he attacks the site any chance he gets, there seem to be 1,000's of very happy members. If jj thinks I'll go digital then he knows nothing about me or apug..

Your little Star Chamber, offline circle, and penchant for advertisers directives points to the same insecurity that motivates you accuse others of 'attacking' when they simply express regret regarding your deletions, editing of posts, and denial of the same. Your continued behavior is what leads to escalaltion. Good luck with APUG. I do hope APUG becomes fulfilling enough for you that you stay there. Exclusively.

Due to your behavior, I have removed all but one of your advertisers from my short list of vendors, and that one is being phased out.

Isnt this cutting your nose to spite your face?.... Some of APUG advertisers are the best available for film photography, to name a few JandC, Calumet, Bostick & Sullivan, etc, etc....

You are going to stop using them just because you dont like Sean?....... I find this hilarious!

I stopped using APUG's advertisers for a number of reasons. First, as in any general case, there are a few that are just worthless to me. Second, YES, I did so for the rest because of their association with Sean.

It's a big world, Jorge. Laugh it up if you think it's funny. You, OTOH, are a just incredible.

I just want to say and make sure it goes on the record that jj has absolutely no first hand experience how incredible I am...... :-)

Jorge, Jorge, you really should look up the word Incredible.

overused as a hyperbole for "good." It means "too improbable to believe"

It means "too improbable to believe"

see, this is the problem with you. You fancy yourself clever when you really always miss the mark. As you say too improbable to beleive, but nevertheless, not impossible..........

Shame you had to land on this forum.....you have been ousted from just about any other forum you participate.

Not one bit true. As usual, you disgrace yourself with exageration, lies, stretches of innuendo. Life is short. I'm not wasting any more time on Jorge. Moving on...

jj careful or the danish one will jump in too.

I've been on apug a long time. I've seen people come, and go. I've seen very very few banned. If Sean felt it to be a need for the betterment of the community that you were banned, It had some darn good reasons behind it. He warns, and after repeated violations and such he finally takes action. Jorge and I both have reps of being a bit volitle. Neither one of us are going to eliminate any source of good to do our photography with. BTW, most companies that are left open to you, buy a lot of their supplies from the vendors you now refuse to do business with. Be well, and pay more for your goods. I love your economics, it makes it better for me.

aggie - please keep your little feud off this list. You have no history here and it would probably be nicer for all of it stayed that way

Well that's rather interesting.

jj, with a fairly good reputation of causing trouble makes some nasty remarks. That's just fine.

Someone else comes in with an explanation, and a rather polite one at that, and they are asked to leave the forum!

How things do change. This used to be a friendly place...

Rich, the point here is that Aggie came in for only one purpose: to comment for Sean, probaby to ingratiate him or at his request, and posted an untruth. Sean never warned, never admitted, then lied about deleting posts, then he cut access without notice and did the same for my roommate and colleague, the latter possibly by accident or by clumsiness, but I rather doubt it.

The rest is not directed to you personally, Rich - I'm just riding on the thread.

In any event, if the concensus is that I've contributed nothing here then it is time for me to go willingly. Goodbye. It truly has been a good experience, with the obvious exceptions. Life is too short to waste time. Never presume that tomorrow will be like today, or be at all.

I wasn't band from apug........... I'm just not smart enough to figure out how to use this computer! Sean took care of the problem and now I'm "back in".
Sure hope my earlier post didn't start all this.
