I am trying to replace a regular board with a recessed one (for a 75mm lens). The lens will not budge off the board that it came with. Are there tools or any other tricks to do the seemingly impossible?
The 75mm sits too far back for movements, that's why the attempt to put it on a recessed board.

You may need an spanner wrench ($10 perhaps)

Measure your lens to know how long the tips have to be.

A little WD40 on the retaining ring can help.

Don't try to unscrew the lens from the board as it may have the positioning screw on the back of the lens in a slot on the board. Unscrew the retaining ring from the back of the board.
