One of the stores in Portland does also. Can't remember if it's Freestyle or Blue moon. I 'm starting to do my own.

Thanks. I think Blue Moon sells the plates as well.

Blue Moon processes them. I’d offer to process them but I’m way backlogged and my workers aren’t quite trained up on it yet..

This thread is getting responses from both coasts but no where else.

I am in the Houston Texas area, the forth largest market in the country, but over the years every lab that could process large format materials has closed. I have to send film olut to another state!

Thanks to all whe responded here.

After I moved 2 years ago I had no Darkroom.

I processed my first J lane Glass Plates in a closet at night in 5X7 trays. One at a time. No timer. I just counted silently. Out of the closet (haha) in under 20 minutes.

After fix i washed them in the bathroom sink.

I know you have sight problems and so do I but processing a couple glass plates is not hard.

I had a lab in Chicago, but they ruined some B&W roll film and will never send any B&W out again.

DIY is best now...

I've had good luck with these people up to 4x5 size. I think they do color too.

Processing b&w is so easy with the Stearman 445 that I do my own now. Have their latest SP810 for 5x7 & 8x10 in the works.:)

I have done my own since I was 9 years old, both film and plates. Of course over the years I Have had a few blunders, but still I would rather trust myself than any lab.
