True, I don't keep a trash can in the Darkroom, but bring one in with a new liner bag during all print sessions.
It's right under the fixer tray area of the sink so I can toss another one without even bothering with fix.
However I process to dry all film and save even the worst failures for other projects. If completely blank it makes lens covers or caps. Drawer liner...
I have a friend who wants all the blue tint X-Ray failures I can supply. Art materials, she also eagerly takes any tiny scrap metals, used flash bulbs etc.

Randy it sounds like you have a human trash can. I agree with the principle.
