Anyone tried it. Today I played golf and had a few beers on the course. While playing hole number 14 I noticed a picture and thought, I’m going to get that after golf. So after finishing 18 me and my caddy drove to the car park, got my Chamonix 8x10 and headed to hole number 14. Took the picture had a few more beers then got dropped off at home. Well hell in for a penny in for a pound....... I headed straight to the darkroom and developed two sheets of 8x10.
Pictures to follow In the morning

I’d call that a very productive day.

being drunk, or even tipsy, is very dangerous in a darkroom. There is too much possibility of breaking objects causing self harm,or drinking a totally incorrect liquid, or many other types of accidents, some of which could be fatal.

You’re supposed to develop film sober?

I once developed with two beers (usually have none!) and I developed with the fixer first, then use the stop, and finally used the developer. I got four blank 4x5 negatives. Those were the best pictures I had ever taken.

Brandy & benzedrine from what I've heard.

I developed some E-6 while a bit tipsy (the first, and only time) and I will say standing in the dark for 15 minutes with no points of reference did not help my situation.

Sounds more like the 19th hole than the 14th.

Between the camera movements, focus, and whatever development time (and sequence of chemicals) you used, the results will be interesting all the same.

I haven't had a beer in over 5 years. Maybe that explains my recent lack of productivity!

Now if you had taken the photo from the end of that dock after a few beers, we'd be really impressed.

Focusing a 4x5 on acid is challenging, from what I hear...

I think it is called The New Zoned System.

Could this be called the dip-and-drunk method?

idk- if a pitcher can pitch a perfect game on acid (https://www.si.com/mlb/2017/06/12/dock-ellis-acid-no-hitter-pittsburgh-pirates-anniversary) focusing a view camera seems easy?
