Can't find much about this lens. Have some notes that it is a Planar 6/4 that is optimal at f:11, not f:22 like a plasmat. If it is a Planar design it should be a 60 to 64 degree lens good for coverage up to 5x7. It also says it is convertible which I think is unusual for a Planar design. Any info and/or experience on this lens would be appreciated.

I believe it to be an early plasmat design. Sort of Steineils version of the early Schneider convertible Symmar

The VM isn't much help but makes it clear that Quinon was a trade name that included a number of design types.

6/4 convertible double Gauss types aren't unknown. Boyer's f/2.8 Saphir, another trade name that included a number of design types, was one.

f/5.6 suggests a convertible plasmat.

I do now remember Arne's thread now & I stand corrected.

I should have remembered as I owned a couple in shutter back then. Never tested them before I moved them on but I do remember they where post WWII & single coated.

I plan on using it on my 5x7 Kardan Bi and compare it with the 210 Symmar-S, both at f:11.
