The New York Times "Lens" section has a nice feature - lots of pictures, few words - on Bruce Polin's 8x10 work in Prospect Park, Brooklyn:

He does nice work. I enjoy the immediacy and connection and his soft touch. The LF gives super results. I shoot MF but rarely people. I should try that some time instead of my usual landscape stuff.

Glad he's getting more recognition. He's a member here by the way-

Thanks Colin, I hadn't recognized that. And congratulations to Bruce!

This is WHY I think it's a good idea (fear of identity theft & all aside) to at least make your true name available to other forum members. I for one would have promoted, encouraged & looked for Bruce's work long before this.
I had no idea Dustyman was Bruce Polin and that Dustyman had such vision. AWESOME!

Dustyman has a lot of nice studio gear also.

Now I know who he is...

Thank you, Oren, for the share ...and everyone here for their comments. Very much appreciated. The response to the NY Times piece, in general, has been overwhelming. Now if the weather would warm up just a bit I could get some more work done.

Kindly
Bruce Polin

Very sensible and compelling work, besides those beautiful compositions, and tones.

And the very first photographer I know using a Gowlandflex 4x5".

Bruce Very nice work. When we look at the pictures on the web, are they scans of the prints or original film negatives? Could you give us some details on the processing?
