For UK-only postage.
Foma Indux R4 10x12cm in daylight Fomapak. Fifty packets per box.
The film is double-sided and appears somewhat orthochromatic.
Contact: info@HexagonLimited.com. State that this is about the the 10x12cm Foma Indux R4 in daylight packets.
They have stated that they have 60 boxes of the stuff. Be advised that this material is expired. It has probably been properly stored, but they just want you to know it isn't fresh material. I don't have a box with the batch code or expiry date.
It is worth having some fun with. They have stated that you order a minimum of two boxes. I got mine quite cheaply even compared to the price of 25 sheets of 4x5 Shanghai. You will probably burn through a good bit getting to know it's behaviour.
To load the stuff you need a changing bag if you don't have a darkroom. The packets can be torn open and the film loaded into the darkslide. As I said it is double-sided & the lack of a notch is therefore not an issue.
It can be developed in the likes of Rodinal diluted 1:100 for 6-9 min I need to check this).
I have also used Fomadon LQN diluted 1:10. This juice is alleged to be a clone of Ilfosol, but I have no proof.
Try Ilfosol 3 anyway.

This is a public service or a way to avoid Industrial Lead disposal.

Not blaming Neil Purling, but I always suspect corporate altruism.

USA has this standard. https://archive.epa.gov/epawaste/hazard/web/html/faq-2.html

EU Lead policies are much harder to find. Maybe this applies. https://www.enr.gov.nt.ca/sites/enr/files/guidelines/guideline_waste_lead_and_paint.pdf

Who cares, if it means you can score some film cheaply?

So this is only a UK offer???

Did they specify an amount they want, or shipping costs???

I would be interested in an amount, but any other info???

Thanks,

Steve K

UK Only. Sorry LabRat.

For the UK residents the minimum order is 2 boxes, thus 100 sheets.

Randy: Where does the X-ray film have the lead? What precautions must one have to develop or handle the x-ray film? What about disposing the one shot developer?

Thanks, P
