What size of camera do you intend to make? If 4x5, there are many used lenses for the format on the market, many, especially older ones, quite inexpensive. Similarly, there are used 4x5 holders.

For used gear in the US, look on ebay.com. Also visit igorcamera.com. I'm not Igor, have had a couple of satisfactory purchases from him and he has decent stock.

Do you think a post of "Hi all" with no information about photography (or anything else) is a troll or a genuine new member?

Dan, my question was not aimed at you, it was about these kinds of “introductions” which pop up periodically.
