View Full Version : Alphax shutter overhaul/repair?

Can anyone recommend a place to send an Alphax shutter to be overhauled? Shutter has been in storage since the 1960s. Fraction of a second speeds still work, but the B setting now is more like an instantaneous speed and the T setting fires like a B setting.

Louis, I mean the one Bob referenced that he had listed a bunch of repair places. I don't think Bob posted on that one. I use Carol, but I think she stays swamped! L

Luis I believe the last post made in that thread was Bobs. There are a few active shutter service names mentioned including Carol several times.

Zacks in Providence can work on your shutter, He has an inhouse lathe so if it needs parts he can make them too.
