I picked up a Luna Pro on eBay the other week. Its in excellent condition cosmeticly but I think its out of calibration by 3-4 stops. Any recommendations for where I could get the calibration checked and, if necessary, have it recalibrated? I've heard good things about Quality Light Metric.

Thanks,
Chris

For Gossen meters, probably Bogen. But check with them first. If not Bogen, Quality Light Metric.

I'd send it to Richard Ritter. http://www.lg4mat.net/

Chris,

The factory in Germany does a good job.

Make sure you have the correct batteries in the meter. The Luna-Pro mas made for mercury 1.35v batteries, not the 1.5 alkaline batteries that are sold today. The extra voltage will set the meter off by one ot two stops. B&H sells a "kit" to use the alkalines in the Luna and should fix any problems with the meter. I also bought a luna off of E-bay and just went thru this same problem w/ my meter.
