Please offer some suggestions on what would attract you to a free weekend of sharing your photographs and an opportunity to make new friends with like minded photographers. Springtime 2019

Print sharing & making new friends with like-minded photographers sounds great!
Add a variety of photo shoot opportunities/locations (before/during/afterwards), a drivable location, reasonable hotels, and plenty of notice of final dates/times.

What exactly do you mean by "free weekend"? Presumably we would be picking up the costs of airfare, car rental, hotel, meals, incidentals.

Hello Randy, There are a number of seasoned LF photogs behind this and we want to put our best foot forward with the launch of this. Stay tuned, I will post a link here to the new thread and hope we all can keep this idea in the current for next spring.

The dates have been in place for a while, with some of the LF photogs who are organizing this and traveling considerable distance it needs to be next year and without the threat of inclement weather here in New England, therefore the first week of May is in place. Cheers, SS

That would seem appropriate don't you think. There maybe a few meals here at my home that would be free of charge if that is of interest.

Hope you give it some consideration, SS

Steve, it is a long ways from SF/NM to C/C, but I would be more than happy to help with the cooking.....the last big group was for Al Weber's Rendezvous in King City, CA....lets see 14qts of my red sauce with meat, 3qts of vegetarian sauce, ?lbs of pasta, bread, salad.....I think we fed 70 people that night, with no call to the ER....Oh wine from TJs (3 red and 3white) and not 2 buck.....love to come but it is a long way.....jan

I’d make a good effort to be there. It would only depend on my work schedule.
