hi
i was curious what people use to shoot with their 11x14 century studio cameras outdoors?
would you recommend using a heavy duty tripod or maybe 2 tripods - one for the front and one for the back, the bi-post century stand with heavy duty wheels for outside or simply a table?
thanks
phil

I use a Gitzo cf G1325 tripod with manfrotto long lens support. If I have the back rail on I use another support on it.

I don't use a Century [or an] 11x14, but you may be able to glean some ideas from this: http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?142015-ULF-Tripod-and-Tripod-Head-Discussion&p=1411763&viewfull=1#post1411763

Phil it sounds like your asking about the Century #8a 11x14 Studio Camera and not the ROC/Eastman Empire State/ 11x14 correct?
