I have been putting off this AE12 + 8x10 C1 combo with shutter for a while due to the not-so-big opening of the C1 camera and lack of a defuncted speed graphic. I decided NOT to upgrade the camera to a better one or larger format. Also I found a working way around it a,long with the speed graphic, so yeah, here it is the light-tighted combo -- fyi I do have a better AE12 with blue and yellow dot but that one is for backup:

I am still renovating my house so sample picture(s) will be posted in this thread in a week or two or three in the future

Looking forward to seeing your images! I have the same lens and salvaged shutter waiting to be assembled and fitted. You've provided the needed kick to get moving on it!

Is that the 13.5" f/3.5 Aero-Ektar or the 12" f/2.5? The barrel is from the f3.5 version, but I think they are the same size barrel (fits the 24" f6 version too)... just curious.

Thanks all, pictures will be coming -- I like polaroid, x-ray and regular films ...

Hi Jason this is the 12 inches f2.5 with f/3.5 barrel re-use. I made thread a while back on this topic http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?141202-Kodak-Aero-Ektar-12-inches-f2-5-yellow-blue-dots-Carl-Meyer-conversion

That Impossible film looks impossible to get an artifact free shot. I'd get some real film and try your lens, it should look great.
