I'm actually in a similar situation with not having a large enough easel. I'm using mat board to hold the paper down with magnets but getting some rough edges on the prints. Looks like you are using mat board as well?

Yes I do. A mat board/passepartout. It's very well cut and I have no difference in edges compared to an easel ;)

An elegant solution for an easel. The only drawback is that you're stuck with that aspect ratio. I'm lucky to have picked up a Saunders four-bladed 20x24 easel years ago for cheap.
