Fox was traffic victim, found christmas. Anatomic model shows mimic innervation and blood vessels
Cristal glass (champagne, no hooch, grrr…) broken by our cats January 1st, arranged in scene by Caro, natural light in glass house.
Standard Optical Portrait No 3 F/5; cardboard aperture.
8x10 probably Hongkong 100 ASA Film, long time exposed.
Staining development, scanned, photoshop- inverted and descratched.

Awww poor fox! I'm not sure I can pick up a dead animal on the street to photograph it later. I mean, I'll take a quick pic of it where it lies.
Thanks for the specs of the shot. So interesting. I love the behind the scenes stuff like "I took this picture with a 2000 year old camera with jello as a lens".

Eliverto, well done. Lighting and tone rendering is nice. The subject materials are interesting and work together for me. Especially the rectilinearity of the frame, compared with the rope, which is anything but rectilinear.

What focal length was used?

Yesterday I thought it was time I made some test shots with my Lerebours et Secretan 15" f5 lens, in combination with film (the lens was designed for Tintype work, originally). So, here is the result: 2 second exposure at f5, on 8X10 inch FP4, processed in Xtol (lovely combination!)

This image has been cropped square on purpose for my, "A Photo A Day Project." I am busy downsizing and emptying out my old film stock. I have had 1-1/2 boxes of Type 55 in the crisper drawers for over 10 years. Even with all the hurricanes that brought weeks of power outage, the film so far has held up. I do miss the availability of this film. I have been away from this forum for a few years, but I am back with a new-to-me Linhof 4x5 and some of my same old lenses! :)

This image has been cropped square on purpose for my, "A Photo A Day Project." I am busy downsizing and emptying out my old film stock. I have had 1-1/2 boxes of Type 55 in the crisper drawers for over 10 years. Even with all the hurricanes that brought weeks of power outage, the film so far has held up. I do miss the availability of this film. I have been away from this forum for a few years, but I am back with a new-to-me Linhof 4x5 and some of my same old lenses! :)

Yes, I stay busy. I have enjoyed living in the South since 1985, but will be moving back out west next year.

Arca F-Discovery 4x5, Wollensak 7 1/2" f/4.5 Velostigmat Soft Focus Conversion shot at f/8, Bergger Pancro 400@200 in Spur Acurol-N 1+50 at 22 degrees for 11:00 minutes.
I had this classic in mind for a long time and finally managed to photograph it.

Looks halfway between a posed still life and a candid snap. I think it works well.

The second in a series of images of flowers and objects a windowsill, shot from outside, so incorporating reflections as well. The ball-like object on the right is dried kelp, arranged with the skull of a seabird--probably a gull. The series is in pause, as my wife has thrown out all the flowers and has yet to replace them.
