I was thinking of purchasing a Nikkor SW 90mm f/8 lense and saw one advertised as - Sinar (Nikon) Wide Angle 90mm f/8 Nikkor SW . So what does the Sinar labeling mean? Is this still the same lense? Sorry if this has been addressed before but I couldn't find my answer by searching. Thanks.

It simply means it was originally sold by Sinar-Bron as a "handpicked" lens by whatever standard they used. Personally, I'd not pay a premium over the "regular" 90mm f/8 Nikkor. I have a regular one and it's a wonderful lens.

Could be mounted in a sinar shutter/board..

Thanks for the clarification. As it turns out it is in a Sinar DB Mount. If I understand the Sinar system correctly it means this lense comes without a shutter. Since I don't want to mess with that I'll just keep looking for a used one in a copal #0 shutter.
