The Ivancak Cameras presents ... ta ta taaaaa ... The S1 model printed on 3D printer (we use Prusa and Ultimaker). Some of you remember our first project announced in the Kickstarter section (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?125628-World-First-3D-Printable-Large-Format-Camera-is-now-available). This time we do not have any campaign but you can already pre-order the camera from our website (http://ivancak-cameras.com/).

The camera is compatible with several lenses, has newly developed helical focusing system with 6.5 mm travel, you can focus via ground glass and has standard 1/4-20 UNC tripod thread. And also it looks awesome:cool:!

Our message to the world is that the photography is not about the quantity of taken photos, it is about the pleasure of capturing the moment. And we are sure that S1 allows you to achieve this feeling.

A minor suggestion - the finish of 3D printed products leave much to desire.
How feasible is it to refinish them after printing?

Cute, but there are other portable 4X5's out there now, so a small crowded market...

So what is the standard FL the camera is set-up for??? It would be nice if the camera could interchange the lens cone for different FL's... So someone would be stuck with one FL in this configuration...

One problem is with one of the other offerings for another maker is failure of a critical part, and not being able to contact the maker for spares, so it has to be asked what support there will be in the future???

Price seems high...

I'm wishing to see one of these with a International type back that can easily change to CFH, Grafmatic, roll film, digital, pano, and instant type film holders, and maintain GG focusing...

But good luck, but I also hope the the market didn't sour by now (from the other offerings)...

Hi there,
thanks for your reply. As we want to constantly improve with every product printed, we do not perform any surface finishing. We sell products directly printed from the 3D printer and we will always keep on pushing the quality of product's surfaces to the currently available maximum.

Hi Steve,

Yes there are lots of them:) And we are glad! This make this field interesting and inspiring. And of course if you buy one you get the support from us - if something brokes you can order a spare part from us.

Right now we can prepare the camera for several lenses (see our webpage (http://ivancak-cameras.com/)) and if you camera for more lenses at the same time so we can send the parts to re-assemle it. But it is on personal agreement.

And finaly thanks. We strongly hope that we will ind our place in the market:)
