Metol in the UK

I've done a bit of browsing today and the cost of Metol in the UK seems to have gone through the roof. Is this profiteering, Europe (as usual), or have the Chinese captured the market? Of course I might be wrong as I haven't bought any for some time. Any thoughts?

£24.45 (approx 33 USD) + shipping per 100 grams is the price quoted today from Wet Plate Supplies here in the UK.

From Silverprint £135-77 UKP for 500g or £42-40 UKP for 100g. From Process Supplies £30-00 UKP for 500g but they will only send this by an overnight courier and this will push up the cost considerably.

I'm off to The Smoke later this month, if I can get 'er indoors moving so that we can get to Process Supplies shop, before our appointment in Darkest Islington, I'll just buy some. I totally forgot about Wet Plate Supplies, thanks for the reminder.
