Well I was surprised to see this film when I pulled it from the tank. I wasn't what I thought I had in the holder haha.

Does this look like HP5+ ? The only Ilford film I have was already loaded in some holders I picked up here ;)

Not to highjack this thread, but now that we've determined that Fred's film is HP5, I wonder if anyone knows what mine is? I only have 8x10 HP5, EBRA and TXP. It should have been HP5, and don't believe I could have gotten my film mixed up. Wondering if the holder could have been loaded before I got it? Unlikely since I've had it for a while. Help appreciated. Thanks, L

There are two films that I know of that have a single, rounded notch close to the edge -- Gigabit 25 and Agfapan APX 25. I have both, so if I dig deeper I could "match them up" more carefully, but perhaps this is enough information.

Some Arista films from Freestyle I have used have a knotch like that. 400 if I recall.

The Arista/Foma film notch is not as deep as this one. But I'm not sure how consistently they punch their film; who knows, there may be variability. But I've never seen it this deep on Foma film.

Chinese films (Era Shanghai and Lucky) use this notch as well.

When we used to cut down larger sheets, we'd use a hole punch to set orientation. Could be a home made notch.
