Hello from, you guessed it, Norway!

This seems like a nice forum with lots of knowledge.

I really don't know anything about LF, but I love the look from portraits and landscapes. I really like to shoot film, and my favourite camera is my Hasselblad 500CM.

I signed up to this forum because I think I will buy an Intrepid camera. But I dont know if I will feel comfortable using a dark cloth in public:) (Is it really necessary?)

So I have a lot to learn about bellows and lenses…

Welcome to the forum, Norway.

Some cameras like Linhof Technikas, Wista SP's, Crown Graphics, etcetera, have hoods that fold out to help shield the ground glass from direct light. Some monorails have mono viewers that attach to the back of the camera. I don't know how hard it would be to attach something to an Intrepid. Chamonix makes a cardboard viewer for their cameras that might work.

Don't be embarrassed about using a dark cloth. Yes, people tend to stare but you are under the dark cloth and don't notice them anyway. ;)

Chamonix had more options then I knew about!

These work for Chamonix cameras but you might be able to use them with an Intrepid with a little modification. Contact Intrepid and ask them what they think.

Welcome to LFPF

Wise choice. Hasselblads are the greatest.
