Linhof Service Center?

I've acquired a Linhof MT 2000 and wanted to find out if there is an official Linhof Service Center in the USA? Besides repairs, if ever needed, I'm also interested in the possibility of getting a CLA just to insure it is at factory specifications.

Comments and experiences appreciated.

I believe Nippon photo clinic in nyc is a Linhof service center

You can also use Precision Camera (http://www.johnmowens.zenfolio.com) in Niles, IL, where Bob Watkins has been factory trained by Linhof. I have used him for my MT Classic, and he does good work. I understand he is also a go-to person in the US for Arca-Swiss service, and I can attest that he is good for Mamiya cameras (esp CLA and rangefinder adjustment and service for Mamiya 7 and 7ii).

Thanks Serge and JM for the referrals. I've also heard of Laflex in California. Supposedly Laflex bought the Marflex tools/equipment when Martin retired and passed away. Any comments or experience with Laflex?

After Martin died I went to his Joe and, with his widow, inventoried his parts and equipment and then sold them to Nippon and Precision for his widow. Laflex was never mentioned and was unknown to us, the Linhof distributor.

Precision is owned by Bob Watkins
Nippon is owned by Rim Hooseong.

Who owns, much less works at Labflex?

If you go to the Linhof web site and click on distributors the only two found on the factory site is Precision and Nippon for the USA.

Thanks for the additional information Bob. I saw the distributor list but thought they were referring to sales only. I've sent Bob Watkins an email and hope to hear from him soon.
