I used to follow her on Flickr back in the day. Some interesting work. A sad tale.

I wish she had spoken more about how each series was inspired. Also would be helpful to look at the whole series.
I got the sense that a lot of the meaning behind each series was after the fact, but it also seemed clear she had strong direction to begin each series.
