What makes it even funnier is his description: "Offered here is Photo paper from Ilford because I decided to give up my hobby"! No wonder he gave up!

Last year there was one much worse then that. Two rolls of 50" wide Kodak Endura. I think it was Endura. RA-4 for sure. Both pulled out so they could be photographed. Clearly seen in one photograph was a label stating to only open in the dark. Worse part the seller was local. Okay even worse. Somebody bid on it.

I recall seeing another one of these sales mentioned on apug not long ago. These people think that it's just like inkjet paper and you can pull it out in the light and not harm it.

Actually, Diane, I expect a lot of them think it *is* inkjet paper.

Heh, auction was terminated early because the item was destroyed.

My inkjet prints on Ilford start out pretty well, but they keep turning black.

Chad- have you checked your inkjet fixer? Could be exhausted...

Am I alone in buying used stuff that I think is a good deal and then finding when I get home that I didn't look carefully enough, the light in the store wasn't good, I didn't ask the right questions etc. etc. and I've once again shot myself in the foot? I am inspied to write this since I just bought an 8 reel stainless (?) tank - the store lighting wasn't good, their policy is no returns etc. and when I got it home I see rust flecks in the bottom. I hope Calamity Jane doesn't belong to my club!

You're not alone. Now that they've opened an electronics surplus place nearby I'm in real trouble. Woe is me.

Juergen,

Thanks and my apologies for the poor spelling.

Actually if we are talking about the folly of this sale, it is actually worse than it seems. This is the same guy who had the previous auction a few weeks back, he did not have any bids so he decided to re list it. Boggles the mind.....

Good price though.
