Good evening all,

Next Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 PM is the time and date for our pot luck BBQ and first ever get together. We will go to 9:00, 10:00, or whatever. For my part I plan on providing Chips n Dip and then throwing a bunch of burgers on the BBQ. Please let me know if you will be attending and I will send a map and driving instructions to each of you who responds. All are welcome to come share thoughts, prints or just to meet others who share an interest in Large Format photography. Hope to see all of you here.

Sounds like a great group and venue to meet and discuss LF. Are there any groups from this forum near Toronto?

Thanks to Juergen for reminding me that this is a world wide forum. In response; the meeting is for photographers in the Los Angeles, California area who would be interested in meeting others that have an interest in LF photography. And, Juergen if your ever in the area drop us a line and come on over for a spot of Santa Maria Tri-Tip on the BBQ :^)

Greg, thanks for the invitation and I sure will take you up on it should I be in the LA area one of these days. My question was actually stupid - I didn't read the heading correctly - probably too much wine last night:-) Have fun at your barbecue - would love to join you.

Greg, very hospitable of you to host this first local get together. I'd look forward to going if I didn't have to work this weekend. Hope you have a good turnout and that you will consider a repeat performance soon. Let us know what a great success it was.
