I just came across a book of panoramic photos by Lyle Gomes. I really like the way he uses the format. The measuring space portfolio on his website is very nicely done. I curious about other photographers working in the panoramic format. Any suggestions? I am aware of Jay Dusard's work.
Thanks for any recommendations.

You must look at Stephen Wilke's work. Also Roland Richter
Michael A. Smith works well with 8x20. Even had a 25 year retrospective show at MOMA a decade or so ago.
Michael works with Kodak Super XX, processes by inspection and works with Contact Prints in the tradition of Edward Weston.

Tillman Crane works with some panoramic sizes. I think 5x12 is what he is currently using. He prints Platinum/Palladium prints only these days.

Kerik Kouklis works with 7x17 and is worth checking out as well.
He prints Gum over Platinum for much of his work.

I would suggest you look at Eugene Omar Goldbeck, Josef Sudek and Art Sinsabaugh. Each very different...all masters of the panorama.

I can tell you that I shoot 8x20 and have some images on my site under the sub heading Ultra Large Format in the Landscape section. Check it out if you wish. New work to be uploaded soon. 8x20 that is. All carbon transfer from in camera negatives.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. There is alot of nice work out there. Jim, I have a print of Fallen Giant #2 Bull Creek Flat. You sent it to me as an example of a carbon print a few years back. It's hanging in my photo room.

Lois Conner. She shoots 8x20 and prints in platinum. I have her book of photographs from China- it's superb.

Josef Koudelka's book "Chaos." And I'd second the Art Sinsabaugh suggestion.

I use a 4x10" camera. These suggestions just exemplify how much I have to learn!

Pretty sure he uses a medium format panoramic camera as opposed to LF, but I have admired his work for years: Pentti Sammallahti (Finnish). Here is a bio and sample work: http://monovisions.com/pentti-sammallahti/

In Australia Just about every photographer shot panorama it seemed in the 90's and into the 2,000's after Ken Duncan made it popular , they were all much the same landscapes or seascapes velvia on cibachrome or fujiflex in later years
