I'm wondering if, given both F and F2 backs, if it's possible to cannibalize the latter to install a locking focus mechanism on the former? Perhaps not, but it's worth asking.
This relates to my hybrid Norma (front)/F back camera, which I really like. See the following link.

I'd like to have the locking F focus like the locking front Norma focus. But, I need the short posts, which have their own advantages.
